“I will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron.” Isaiah 45:2

May The Lord our God, go before you today, this week and this year!  The Lord our God will go before you, He will level the mountains and cut through the iron bars that are keeping you from your divine destiny!  Stay focused on The Lord, keep your eyes only on Him, don’t dwell on the bars or the mountains - those are temporary. They will be removed, in the mighty name of Jesus!

Don’t forget this year is our year of New Things! We will see God do new things in our lives. Let’s stay focused and faithful to Him, surrendering all to Him,  waiting expectantly for Him to fulfill His promises. He is faithful to His Word.

Our Year of New Things!

"Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert."  Isaiah 43:18-19

Our Declaration for 2022 is this is our year of NEW THINGS!

We are in Christ Jesus; therefore we are a new creation.
All the old things have passed away, now new things have come and we are not condemned.
We believe in Jesus Christ, therefore we are children of God.
We are blessed of our father and no weapon forged against us shall prosper in Jesus name.
We will dwell in the shelter of the Most High all the days of our lives.

This year is my year of new things because the Lord God is going to do New Things -
In my life,
In my ministry,
In my marriage,
In my finances,
In my relationships,
and I will be in good health,
in Jesus' name, Amen!

We encourage you to include this your in your daily prayer, pray with faith this declaration over your life and you will see the the harvest in your life!

Our Year of Peace!

"So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty."  Zechariah 4:6

This word is to remind you to stop trying to do everything with your own strength. Somethings you just cannot force in the flesh.  In order for any change to happen, you must invite and yield to the Holy Spirit. Our Lord Almighty is the only one with the power to transform and change hearts and situations.  I encourage you to invite our Lord Jesus into your life today and surrender your will and control. You will see transformation by His Power and His Spirit.

Happy New Year!  This New Year was more eagerly anticipated that many prior.  We are thankful for God carrying us through to a new year!

In order for one to fully enjoy newness is to let go of the old. We cannot be free to accept anything new or better until we have let go of the hurtful past. We cannot be renewed and refreshed until we surrender ourselves to Jesus.

God is wanting to do something new in your life, before He can do something new in your life, He needs to be able to do something new in you.

God wants to renew you - to restore a newness to you, your faith and all areas of your life. To renew means to give fresh life or to strengthen or to revive.

Our family has a tradition of purging items in our house during the beginning of a new year. This year I am not forgetting the spiritual cleaning in my life and our home.

I had some big hurts and disappointments in 2020, but I cannot let that overshadow my God’s faithfulness. Today, I choose not to dwell or hold on lot those hurts but to trust where God is leading me and our family. I know that God has always had a plan and there was a purpose for all that happened in 2020. I want to be free to receive the newness God has planned for me and my family!

I encourage you to let go of the past and do not let the past rob you of your future. God will make a way, when there seems to be no way!  The newness of your faith, the restored joy & peace, the new  job, the new home, the new or renewed relationship is coming, are you ready to receive?

In Christ.

We are just days away from Christmas and I am very excited to celebrate Christmas with my family!

This year is different for many people. Many people are struggling financially, physically, emotionally, due to COVID and all the ramifications of the pandemic.

The enemy is trying to play with our emotions, fill us fear and trying to get us to lose hope. 

I was just reflecting this morning, having children opens your eyes to how easily the enemy attacks our minds and feeds us with lies. I remember when I was younger, watching a kids movie with the angel on one shoulder and the devil on the other shoulder. I did not know then the reality they were depicting and the spiritual world that was being represented in that short animation.

The Word says in 1 Peter 5:8, “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” John 10:10 says “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full”

The devil is watching us, waiting for opportunities to whisper lies into our ear, once we’ve heard what he said, those lies are floating in our mind, affecting our thoughts and emotions.

What is the thief coming to steal, to kill and destroy in your life? Is it that he is trying to STEAL your joy, KILL your faith and DESTROY your hope and future?

Are you going to enable the enemy to destroy you life? No, of course you don’t want to!

The Word says in James 4:7, “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”  First, we must submit to God, acknowledging Him as the Almighty God, our Lord and Savior.

Also, we need to feed our minds with the truth. What is the truth? The living Word of God. Romans 12:2 says, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

We must make a conscious effort and decision to reject the lies of the enemy. How do we know if it is a lie or a truth from The Lord? What does the Word of God say about us? We need to spend more time seeking The Lord and waiting to hear from Him. That we will always know the voice of The Lord and the lead of the Holy Spirit.

I hope these words are a kind reminder of the battle we are fighting. We will not surrender to the enemy. A dear friend always says, no surrender, no retreat!

Let us put on the armor of God, let us stand in faith and fight the good fight of faith. We are more than conquerors through Christ who strengthens us. We will see the victory!

This is the reason Jesus was sent to save us from the ways of the enemy, from destruction and everlasting condemnation.

Christmas is a season that when we look forward to spending time with family, having meals and parties, exchanging gifts. This year is different for many people.  Due to coronavirus many people need to isolate to protect themselves and loved ones, this can cause one to become discouraged maybe even depressed.  Unfortunately, many have loss loved ones, either due to coronavirus or other reasons.  This just adds another level of heaviness, adding grieving to all that one is dealing with now.

But there is hope! In Isaiah 9:6, The Word prophesied the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.  Isaiah 9:6 reads “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace”.

We have a loving Father who sent His one and only Son for our salvation, a powerful God who sent His Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ.   His Holy Spirit is an amazing help in times like these. His Spirit provides comfort, joy, and peace to those who allow His Spirit to move freely in them.

The Lord is near to the broken-hearted. Let us focus on Jesus and all the good that The Lord is doing in our lives and try to not focus on all the negative.  This season will pass, let us find comfort and strength in The Lord Jesus Christ during this season. The Lord wants us to rest in Him, to trust Him and be at peace.  

Even in the time of loss, we can find the joy and peace of The Lord.  The Lord hears your cries. My prayer is that you surrender all the fear and pain to Him today and let Him fill you with His joy and peace.  

“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:3

2020 has been a difficult year for many people. This may be the first Thanksgiving some are spending alone. I want to remind you that you are not alone. God is with you, God sees you, God hears you and God loves you.

Even in the midst of trials, hardship and loss, God is good and is worthy to be praised.
God is faithful to who He is and His Word.
God will not leave you nor forsake you. He loves you with an everlasting love!

I encourage you to reflect on and appreciate what God has done for you in 2020. He has carried some through by His grace, some He has saved from extreme suffering and some have received rest.

“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.”  Psalms‬ ‭107:1‬
